Medieval festival 2019

16, 23  and 30 july - 6 and 13 august 2019

Experience the Middle Ages against the background of the motte-and-bailey castle in the landscape garden at Terra Maris.

Highlight is the new show 'Clumsy Knud of Walichrum' with acrobatics and juggling with fire and magic fishes.

Life is good in an inn-like atmosphere, with music and drinks, a kettle of simmering soup, the smell of fires where meat is cooked and children bake their own bread. Children can enjoy themselves playing medieval games, like tree disk walking, archery, etc. People in medieval clothes are there to entertain you and to increase the atmosphere. You can also see how salt was extracted from peat in the Middle Ages. Children can storm the motte-and-bailey castle.

Admission is € 9,00 for adults and € 6.50 for children.

Food and drinks are not included. A visit to the museum however is, so you are invited to come to Terra Maris well before the feast begins
